In the starting of every year, AISSEE is conducted. AISSEE is the All India Sainik School Entrance Examination. Through entrance test, the admission in class 6th and class 9th is offered in Sainik Schools. Generally, the exam takes place in the month of January. Following the trend, AISSEE 2018 will take place in the first week of January 2018. Particularly, on 7th January 2018 the Sainik School Entrance Exam will be conducted. But in Sainik School of Nagrota the entrance exam will not occur on 7th January 2018. Instead the exam will occur in the month of April 2018. The notification for All India Sainik School Entrance Examination is already out. The interested candidates started the process of filling application form for appearing in the entrance exam in January 2018. The officials will sell the application form from 16th October 2017 to 30th November 2017. But the interested candidates can submit the AISSEE application form 2018 till 5th December 2018. However, if the last date passes out then no application form would be submitted in any condition. All the applicants who have successfully submitted the AISSEE application form 2018 before last date or on last date will appear for exam. They will get the chance to appear for the exam on 7th January 2018.

Sainik School Admission 2018 Process

The officials are conducting the entrance exam for selecting the candidates for admission. The admission is for only class 6th and class 9th. As there are large number of candidates for admission purpose, therefore it is necessary to shortlist them. Not all the applicants will get the admission in the classes of 6th and 9th as the number of seats available in Sainik Schools which are present all over India are limited.

Not all boys who want admission in Sainik Schools are eligible for appearing in admission test. The boys whose age is in between 10-11 years are eligible for class 6th. In other ways, boys whose date of birth falls in between 2nd July 2007 and 1st July 2008 fulfils the age criteria. On the other hand, candidates whose age is 13-14 years can apply for admission test to get admission in class 9th. They should be born in between 2nd July 2004- 1st July 2005 to have the eligibility criteria in the terms of age. If candidates fulfil this age criteria, only then they are eligible for filling the application form. The candidates who want admission in class 9th must be studying in class 8th. The admission in the class 6th and class 9th will be on the basis of the marks secured in the entrance test. Therefore, admission procedure will follow the merit based system in selecting the candidates for class 6th and class 9th.

AISSEE Exam Pattern 2018

In the admission test for class 6th, the medium of examination is English and Hindi. However, in the case of admission test for 9th class the medium of examination is English only and candidates have to answer in English Language only.

In the case of AISSEE 6th class, 300 marks are set for the written exam and 50 marks are allotted for the interview of candidates. On the other hand, in the case of 9th class, the written exam is for 400 marks in total. The interview marks are exactly same as in the case of 6th class.

The merit list is going to prepare on the basis of the aggregate marks for written exam along with marks for interview. If there is a condition of tie among applicants, then the officials will take marks of Mathematics into account. Still there is a tie, then marks in English will be taken into account to break the tie and prepare the merit list. But in class of Class 9th, the officials will look for marks in English. However, in the tie after marks in Mathematics, officials will look for marks in Intelligence Test in the case of 6th class.  After that also, tie is there then in such condition younger boy will get higher rank.
